SUMMARY:Music City Roots at Harken Hall
DESCRIPTION:Music City Roots at Harken Hall is set for Wednesday\, August 26\, featuring Grammy- and ACM-nominated artist T. Graham Brown\, singer-songwriter Logan Mac\, American roots music artist Nicki Bluhm\, and singer-songwriter Aaron Raitiere. \nThese artists bring incredible musicianship and storytelling for an unforgettable evening celebrating country\, folk\, bluegrass\, and Americana music. \nT. Graham Brown has recorded 15 studio albums and charted more than 20 singles on the Billboard charts. He has had multiple number-one hits in country\, gospel and blues. Brown’s voice is also recognized from singing in television ads for McDonald’s\, Disneyland\, Almond Joy and Coca-Cola. \nLogan Mac’s story is rooted in grit\, movement and a working-class upbringing that shaped his perspective and his songwriting. He briefly chased a music career\, spending time in Nashville. Then\, he traded his guitar for a hard hat\, building a career in the oil field and construction\, where he still works full-time today. Mac returned to songwriting with an overwhelming response\, which brought him back to making music he loves. \nFor two decades\, Nicki Bluhm carried the torch for modern-day American roots music across the country\, blurring the lines between country-soul and cosmic rock and roll. She lives in Nashville and has embraced contentment being rooted in a slower\, steadier life dedicated to music. \nAaron Raitiere is a songwriter\, singer\, performer\, storyteller and visual artist from Danville\, Kentucky. Known for his singular voice and sharp wit in his songwriting\, Raitiere has become one of Nashville’s most respected creative forces. In 2019\, he won a Grammy Award for co-writing “I’ll Never Love Again” with Lady Gaga\, Hillary Lindsey\, and Natalie Hemby for A Star Is Born. Most recently\, Raitiere earned CMA Song of the Year honors as a co-writer of “You Look Like You Love Me\,” recorded by Ella Langley and Riley Green. \nMusic City Roots celebrates great musicians\, amazing acoustics\, and the thrill of live performances. The format includes performances and interviews with each artist. Legendary artist Jim Lauderdale will serve as host\, Keith Bilbrey will return as announcer and Ranger Doug Green of Riders in the Sky will interview each artist. \nGet your tickets here!
