Membership Benefits

At the Madison-Rivergate Area Chamber of commerce, we are proud to offer many benefits to our members. We do not scale our membership fees by benefits received. Rather, our annual membership fees are determined by the number of full-time employees at your business or organization. This allows all members to receive all benefits at an affordable price.

Monthly Chamber Lunches

Each month, on the third Thursday of the month, we host a lunch for our members. Each lunch features a speaker addressing community development or business development. We also offer the opportunity for businesses or organizations to do a spotlight at the lunch. The spotlight is a chance to present about an event or organization prior to the speaker, and includes the opportunity to hand out literature and set up a table to talk to attendees.
The monthly Chamber lunch is a great way to keep up-to-date about developments and network with other businesses.

Women in Business

Any business or organization member of our chamber automatically has access to our Women in Business program. Women in Business meets bi-monthly during lunch and focuses on different areas of business and personal development. Some of the meetings feature a speaker, some include learning activities, and some plan community service events. This organization offers both development opportunities and the opportunity to be more involved in the community.

Special Events

The chamber hosts a number of special events throughout the year. Some events are fundraising events for the chamber, such as our annual Golf Tournament and our annual Carnival. Some events are community events, such as Community Breakfast, our annual Holiday Tree Lighting, and Taste of Madison. We also co-host some events, such as the annual Night Out Against Crime in Madison.
These events are a fun way to advertise your business through sponsorships, as well as deepen relationships with other members and meet new members in the community.

Ribbon-Cuttings and Ground-Breakings

For members opening a new building or a new business, we offer our assistance in holding a ribbon cutting. We provide the ribbon and the giant gold scissors, and we assist in advertising the event, inviting guests, and Sharing the photographs in our newsletter and on our social media after the event.

Social Media

We are happy to share news for special offers from your business on our social media. Just let us know!

Weekly Newsletter

Every Monday, all members of the chamber receive our electronic newsletter. The newsletter includes updates from businesses and Council people to keep our members in the loop about what is changing in our community. It also includes special offers from businesses, information about events, and the opportunity to submit special information or events about your business or organization.
You can include as many people from your business as you would like in our contact list at no extra charge.

Referrals and Introductions

We are happy to assist our members with introductions to their council people or other businesses that may assist them, as well as individuals who may be able to help with specific projects. We love connecting people!

Health insurance through the Tennessee Chamber and Aetna

Through our partnership with the Tennessee Chamber, our members have access to exclusive health insurance packages for their employees. These packages are curated for small businesses and can offer substantial savings. The only condition is that you must be a member of our chamber and maintain your membership to stay on the insurance plan.

Partnership with The McGraw Council

Our chamber is partnering with The McGraw Council, a nonprofit whose aim is to assist small businesses through the stages of opening and of growth. They offer many online workshops at no cost to our members. If you cannot login during the live workshop, then you can watch the recorded versions later.

After Hours Networking

Each month, a different business hosts an evening of networking and fun for chamber members. The hosting business or organization supplies the location, refreshments, and an activity for those attending. The chamber does not charge a fee to host one of these events. They are planned over the year and spots can fill up quickly.
This is another great way to network with businesses and get to know each other on a more personal level. We believe those personal connections create a stronger business relationship.
