When I opened Green Hills Guitar Studio in Nashville in 1998, it was paramount to offer professional, high-quality music lessons that were affordable. I knew how my own weekly lessons had impacted me as a musician and young person, and I wanted to carry that approach forward. We work to make sure our studio feels welcoming to all students, regardless of age, experience, or musical goals. Our music instructors have over 50 combined years of experience in performance. They help students learn acoustic & electric guitar, songwriting & music theory, bass, ukulele, piano, voice and other instruments for performance and for fun. We look forward to joining you on your musical journey!

We believe in teaching in a supportive, nurturing, and comfortable learning environment that follows a lesson plan specific to your goals and aspirations. After all, learning music should be fun, and you need to be focused on learning the music you like to hear. Along with having fun, we also challenge our students to continue growing as guitarists, vocalists, pianists, songwriters, and musicians. We offer a unique, structured, and linear process that we have learned through experience and adapted through the years in our own careers as professional musicians.

Neely’s Bend Middle School has been a part of the Madison community for over 60 years. Neely’s Bend joined the LEAD family in 2015 and continues to value the traditions of the community while also taking its students to the next level academically – preparing them with the skills they need to be ready for college and ready for life.LEAD Neely’s Bend emphasizes positive, honest family engagement and all parents are provided weekly updates on their child’s progress and have the opportunity to attend regular meetings with the school administration.

We also partner with several community organizations to provide food programs, laundry assistance, job training classes, family workshops, financial workshops, and much more to our students and families in need.
